Logistics and Procurement Manager

Currently, for our Client, an international production company located in Bydgoszcz, we are looking for candidates interested in the position of a Logistics and Procurement Manager. Our client is looking for a strategic and innovative procurement & logistics professional ready to oversee and enhance end-to-end supply chain processes and drive sustainable solutions in the company. As a Logistics and Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials. Reporting to a General Manager and leading a team of a few direct reports, you will be responsible for supplier management, logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory control. Your strategic initiatives will drive performance and cost-efficiency to new heights.
Your new role

• Identify, assess, and negotiate with prospective suppliers while managing these critical relationships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide strategic advice
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective measures when necessary
• Lead the warehouse team, oversee logistics, and ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, analyse performance data, and support sustainability initiatives.

What you39ll need to succeed

• A few years of experience in supply chain management with proven leadership responsibilities
• Proven procurement experience with a strategic approach to sourcing vendors or suppliers
• Resilience in achieving ambitious targets and the ability to respond positively to setbacks
• Skilled in analysing complex information to create clear and communicable solutions
• A highly organised and self-motivated approach to work
• Strong negotiation & influencing skills with internal clients and external suppliers
