System Engineer

We are currently seeking a System Engineer who will be focused on the sensing functions. If you are organized, motivated, and possess a strong analytical mindset, apply now to join the team in Krakow.

Work mode:  hybrid - 2 days in the office (Kraków based) 
Compensation: 100 - 120 PLN/h net (+ VAT) 
Experience:  2 - 5 years 
Contract type:  B2B, through Hays Poland 
Language:  English - B2/C1

Requirements:

• BSc – MSc in engineering or informatics.
• Problem resolution – good time management. 
• System engineering understanding. V-model SYS1, SYS2, and SYS3, + understanding of testing in the vehicle level (VST)  and on the bench (ITV), to lead, coordinate, and push for results.  
• The candidate must be capable of re-write existing documentation and requirements to align with new development. 
• Communication skills: Daily alignment with internal teams – customers  (located in Germany) and supplier (located in Israel). ENGLISH is working language.
• Critical thinking.
• Team oriented. 
• Proficient in office package.

Nice to have:

• Python is a good to have in order to quickly analyze data (Python – basic, Canoe – good to have).
• Knowledge of software development process.
• Experience in automotive.
• Knowledge of German language.

Project:In the project the team works on a whole system, including hardware and software, from sensing function perspective. The team is involved on securing that the algorithms that company’s supplier delivers, are well integrated in the system and there are no performance issues and is according to the requirements. The team owns the sensing functions from camera perspective, for example object detection, pedestrian detection, lane boundaries detection, traffic sign detection, etc.
