***** The Key Responsibilities:

* Join our international IT-team that is responsible for our data
center containing over 600 servers
* Work proactively to enhance performance availability and security at
both the software and hardware level; including servers, network,
storage, virtual infrastructure and backups
* Provide technical assistance to the DBA and Engineering teams
responsible for application performance
* You will be required to work as part of a team but also be able to
act autonomously when required
* Communicate to the business and your superior any time changes and
problems


***** Job requirements:

* University Degree, preferably in Information Technology
* At least 3-4 years of relevant experience working in an operational
IT environment
* Solid knowledge and at least two years of practical work experience
with Linux
* Experience working with Apache & IIS and databases like MySQL or
MS-SQL,
* Working knowledge of TCP/IP, NAT, VLAN, switching and network
topology
* Knowledge of VMware, business continuity and disaster recovery will
be and asset
* English proficiency at the advanced level
* Ability to work effectively in a team as well as to work
independently
* Problem solving skills and ability to learn new things
* Experience working with a development team during application
release


***** Good to have:

* Knowledge of Active Directory and familiarity with ColdFusion
