Position description:
* Under general direction, develops, codes, tests and debugs new
complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a
maintenance capacity.
* Has excellent understanding of business application.
* Works with technical staff to understand problems with software and
resolve them.
* Resolves customer complaints with software and responds to
suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
* May assist in development of software technical documentation.
* Demonstrates software.
* Demonstrates broad knowledge of technical solutions.
* Designs and codes complex applications using advanced technology;
* May create optimization programs to resolve problems; May design and
build prototype applications.
* Responsibilities:
* Works with the team and under general direction to:
* Support SOA developers on various projects.
* Set up development environments, tooling and infrastructure.
* Provide feedback and guidance on architecture, design and coding
best practices to be followed.
* Identify and Create common reusable components for the SOA Component
Repository
* Resolve SOA and Service Mix related issues.
* Work with teams on helping them deploy SOA projects on the Service
Mix infrastructure. Act as a bridge between infrastructure team and
project teams.
* Act as a bridge between PSD architecture and project teams. Help
realize the SOA vision.
* Work with multiple groups (CTO, Engineering, BTO, PSD, Fuse Support)
to resolve issues.
* Collaborate with various teams, architects, developers and managers
on the SOA Community.
* Train teams on SOA, Service Mix and other relevant technologies

Essential job requirements:
* Education:
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
* Technologies:
o Java 1.6, SOA, Spring,
o MOM, ActiveMQ, OSG - highly preferred,
o Web Services,
o JUnit,
o XML Schema,
o XSLT.
* Tooling:
o Maven,
o Service Mix (FUSE ESB) preferably version 4.x, Apache Camel -
highly preferred,
o Eclipse/Netbeans,
o SVN,
o Hudson,
o Sonar,
o Crucible.
* Personal Skills:
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
o Ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously,
o Passionate "get it done right" attitude.
