Bio-engineering - section for virus diagnostics - Department of Medical
Microbiology

The department operates with a diagnosis in bacteriology, virology,
parasitological and mycology (fungal diagnostics)

The department's main objective is to diagnose infectious diseases by
detecting and characterizing disease state in the sample material from
each patient. This forms the treatment of the patient and the
introduction of measures to prevent spread of infection

Task:
Be a part of the daily analytical team

Education:
University
- Bio engineering
- Need to have an authorization as a bioengineer
- Experience of virological laboratory desirable

Languages:
- very good English
- knowledge of Norwegian/Danish/Swedish *or willingness to take part in
intensive Norwegian course*

Personal skills:
- Flexible
- Accurate

- Like to work within a team and with different professions
- Like to be a part of a nice work environment

- Can handle busy environment
