Project Description:
- Being a key member of a Platform Engineering team actively addressing our current diversified monitoring landscape.
- Designing, building, operating, and enhancing the new central monitoring and reporting platform, which is key to consolidating our monitoring efforts across the organization.
- The platform is designed to empower the internal development and operations teams by providing crucial insights into the applications and infrastructure performance and health.
- Technical collaboration with internal user teams, guiding them through the migration from legacy or disparate systems to the central platform, helping them effectively utilize its capabilities, and gathering feedback for improvements.
- Implementation of new monitoring features, the continuous optimization of the platform39s reliability and scalability, and the overall strategic transformation of the current monitoring landscape towards our defined target architecture.

Main Tasks:- Work ratio: Monitoring / Infra (~85%); GoLang (~15%)
- Building new and migrating existing system
- Internal monitoring platform (on K8s on-prem)
- Monitoring of the apps and the infra (full-stack monitoring, not a green-field)
- Writing small GoLang apps (for helping infra and team "glue code", custom prometheus exporters)
- Collab with different teams
- Creating and testing potential PoCs
- Participating in the on-call’s in the future
- Implementing seasonality of metrics, forecasting, potential AI anomaly predictions
- Creating best-practices, guidelines and standards
Must have requirements:- Go + (Python)
- Observability stacks (Prometheus / Alertmanager, Grafana, Thanos/Mimir/VM, Opentelemetry, Frontend Monitoring)
- Familiarity and knowledge of Linux & containerization technologies (containerd, Kubernetes, Cloud Providers. etc.),
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins)
- Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
