Position description:
* Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures;
* Debugs complex software products through the use of systematic tests
to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for company products;
* Develops and executes software test plans including writing test
scripts, automation and modifying existing Test Tool API to
accommodate the test need;
* Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and
recommends corrective action;
* Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems;
* Assists with the designing, coding and execution of automated test
scripts;
* Maintains automated scripts;
* Attends status meetings, provides oral and written reports.

Essential job requirements:
* B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
or equivalent;
* 3+ years experience in Quality Assurance testing, writing and
executing test plans;
* Experience with scripting languages like Shell/Python/Perl/Ruby;
* Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems;
* Fundamental understanding of relational databases; experience with
Oracle and MySql a plus;
* Experience with system performance, stress, scalability, volume, and
capacity testing;
* Experience testing with Agile/Iterative Development;
* Experience with bug tracking tools such as Bugzilla/ Version One;
* Experience with test tools including SOA, JMeter, XML/OTA tools;
* Experience with openSource tools such as Fitnesse;
* Ability to handle multiple tasks/subprojects simultaneously,
organizational skills;
* Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.
