For our Client based in Frankfurt, Germany we are looking for an
experienced Linux Unix Trading Support and Senior Network/ Linux
Administrator.

Our Client is a market maker and proprietary trader of exchange listed
options, futures and equities in the US, Europe, and Korea. They also
have a US proprietary trading arcade and provide direct market access
to a limited group of sophisticated end users.
Technology is the core of our Client's business. It is developed and
managed through Error Free Software LLC. They have a real-time
distributed data base that allow for instantaneous and simultaneous
pricing of all exchange listed derivatives and spreads.
Their technology is built on Sun and Intel hardware operating in a
UNIX/Linux environment. Virtually all of their software is internally
developed for speed and efficiency using C, C++, Python and Perl.
They have three primary technology groups: System Administration,
Trading Support and Application Development.

The right candidate for the Linux/ Unix Trading Support position
should be fluent in English, has BS in Computer Science or 2 to 3
years work experience as a LINUX systems administrator. Knowledge of
the LINUX operating system is essential (Solaris knowledge is a plus).
Good perl and shell programming skills is required and knowledge of C
and C++ knowledge is a plus.

Senior Network/ Linux Administrator should be also fluent in English,
has 5 years of work experience as a Linux, Solaris, and network
administrator. Administrative expertise in the Linux and Solaris
operating systems is essential. Expertise in Cisco IOS and networking
theory and MySQL administration experience including table backup/
restore and manipulation is required. Experience in Backup technology
including but not limited to rsync and rdist.
Knowledge of the SCSI/SATA RAID systems.
