- The provision of support and consultancy to clients
- Understanding the requirements of Babel clients
- Writing technical specifications and design solutions
- Implementation of client requirements
- Configuration of our product offerings to fit client specifications
- Installation and training and post-implementation provision support
to the client
- Troubleshooting and diagnosis of client issues

- Proven ability of working in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral - including
ability to explain technical designs and issues
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the initiative to
proactively resolve issues
- Proven adaptability and responsiveness
- Proven client service skills
- Self-control and resilience including the ability to work and manage
effectively under pressure and respond positively to tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality

Knowledge

- Educated to Degree Level
- Progressive commercial Java development experience
- A proven understanding of industry standard software development
life cycles
- Excellent working knowledge of Java 5, including the Eclipse
Development Platform
- Excellent working knowledge of popular Java frameworks such as
Hibernate, JSP and Quartz
- Proven knowledge of databases, to include solid experience of SQL
- Troubleshooting and debugging techniques

Experience

- Progressive Java development experience
- Demonstrable experience gained within the financial services
industry
