Your new company: 

For a German FinTech Startup that offers its customers a financial analysis and assessment of their credit scoring, together with recommendations for the best financial products, we are looking for an experienced person for the position of Data Scientist!

Your new role:

• Be responsible for the full development cycle of models from data collection, cleaning, and feature engineering to prototyping and model selection to experimental evaluation to documentation and maintenance,
• Build machine learning models to personalize product offerings to our customers,
• Research and design advanced optimization algorithms for the assignment problem,
• Develop and deploy scalable streaming models,
• Automate re-calibrations and self-learning logic for deployed models,
• Lead and monitor a team of data scientists to achieve their sprint goals,
• Coordinate across other departments in the company in order to develop and deploy features, and take care of data requirements from a legal and compliance perspective.

What you39ll need to succeed 

• Passion for data and a proactive mindset,
• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Machine Learning, AI, Statistics, or equivalent),
• 3+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist including the end-to-end cycle (training, deploying, and monitoring), preferably in the lending industry or B2C e-commerce industry,
• 5+ years of Python experience, 2+ years of Spark or PySpark experience,
• High proficiency with SQL,
• Experience with big data technologies (AWS, Azure, etc) as well as Databricks, Snowflake is a plus,
• English language is a must.
