Opis stanowiska:

The Product Architect makes sure that product architecture is not
negatively affected by any code change and that the product remains
stable and sustainable form architectural point of view. Product
Architect is actively participating in all relevant phases of product
development.



Zakres obowiązków:

The role is based in Brno but willingness to travel occasionally is a
must.

* Perform and/or review of Product change assessments.
* Product High Level Design preparation.
* Closely cooperate with Product Management and other internal
authorities in order Product design fulfils business needs.
* Ensure the consistency of Product architecture, maintain a long-term
vision for the architecture.
* Investigate and suggest new Product features.
* Act as the technical authority in Product R D team.
* Lead a team of senior engineers.



Wymagania:

* University degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science or other
technical discipline.
* Excellent analytic skills.
* Demonstrable experience with OOP, especially C++.
* Experience with development in a Unix/Linux environment.
* Experience with database application development.
* UML knowledge.
* Software design theory and practice.
* Creativity and strategic thinking.
* Team player, ability to share knowledge with the team.
* Reliability, responsibility, ability and willingness to learn.
* Excellent ability to communicate in English, both in writing and in
speech.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* 'Can do' attitude towards technical problem solving.


Key skills/competencies

* Background in telecommunications.
* Experience with Informix database.
* Experience with Customer Care Billing Systems.
* Practice with Java, Corba technologies.
* Understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
