For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Master Data and Reporting Expert
Location:

In this role, you will focus on:

  • Master Data Expertise: Applying your in-depth knowledge to define data standards, oversee data cleansing and migration activities for Direct Procurement master data (e.g., material master, vendor master, purchasing info records), and contribute to the establishment of ongoing data governance processes within SAP S/4HANA and GEP Nexxe.
  • Content and Document Management Expertise: Utilizing your experience to provide all relevant data and inputs needed from the Content and Document Management workstream
  • Reporting and Analytics Expertise: Leveraging your analytical skills to identify and translate Direct Procurement reporting needs within the workstream, providing valuable insights into procurement performance and data quality.
  • Driving Data Readiness: Taking expert ownership of the Direct Procurement organization39s data readiness for the new systems. This includes expertly extracting and aggregating data from current systems, developing clear guidance and templates for data preparation, and providing expert support to business users in data cleansing activities.
  • Expert Collaboration: Participating actively in workshops with Business Process Management and internal Procurement stakeholders, contributing your specialized knowledge to align data requirements and reporting needs.
  • Expert Communication: Ensuring clear and consistent communication to provide updates on data readiness and reporting progress, expertly addressing questions, and resolving any concerns related to master data and content management activities.
  • Expert Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Applying your experience to monitor progress related to data migration and reporting development, expertly identifying potential risks to data quality and timelines, and proactively proposing and contributing to the implementation of mitigation strategies or escalating issues as needed.
  • Expert Deployment Support: Providing expert support to local sites and key stakeholders during critical deployment phases, particularly concerning data migration and validation, to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Knowledge Sharing and Best Practices: Expertly documenting experiences, methodologies, and best practices related to master data management and reporting within the Direct Procurement context to contribute to the long-term success of the deployment.

Skills and experience needed:
  • You obtained your university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
  • You have 5 years of experience in the above-mentioned fields with a significant focus on Master Data Management, Document/Content Management, and/or Reporting, preferably within a Procurement or Supply Chain environment. Hands-on business experience in Direct Procurement is a strong advantage.
  • Deep experience in SAP R3 and SAP S4/Hana (mainly SAP MM), other Procurement solutions (GEP Nexxe) is a big plus.
  • You bring international or global/corporate experience working in projects/programs (preferably transformational of nature) involving cross-functional teams.
  • You have a strong E2E business process area understanding and deep process knowledge as well as technical expertise for Direct Procurement. Your good E2E knowledge of the important interfaces is related to processes such as VMI, CMO, Supply Chain, Transportation Management, Warehousing, Commercials, etc.
  • You convince with your agile mindset (speed, stability, flexibility) and you work according to the agile mindset concept in daily operations.
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; experience in identifying and leading change initiatives and a proven track record of effective decision making.
  • We expect you to be business fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
