For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Senior Java Developer

Location: hybrid / Warsaw

Branch: project in banking sector

Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)

Length: long-term cooperation, first contract for 6 months

Rate: 120-145 PLN/h net on B2B

Start date: ASAP

Working hours: Business Working hours

Remote work: hybrid model 3 days a week in the office in Warsaw

Methodology: Scrum

Java 8+, Spring Boot, Hibernate, GIT, Junit/Mockito, RDBMS Databases,

Project:

Project in Banking sector

What will you do:

• Design and develop robust and scalable Java applications using Java 8 and above.
• Implement clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Work with RDBMS databases to store and retrieve data.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Write unit and integration tests for applications.
• Perform code analysis and refactoring to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug code issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Java technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the development process.

What we expect from you:

• 5-7 years of experience in Java development using Java 8 and above
• Proven experience in designing and developing high-quality software applications.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with RDBMS databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest technologies.
• Prior banking applications developer (highly valued)
• Very good command of spoken and written English (min. B2)

What would be a plus:

• Higher education in the field of computer science, mathematics or related
