• Develop, maintain, and enhance modern backend services based on Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure secure, scalable integrations, leveraging Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures and real-time data streaming.
• Work with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, MS SQL), including writing efficient queries and basic performance tuning.
• Collaborate with other backend developers and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure code quality through testing, CI/CD integration, and proper documentation.
• Support development for the e-connect portal, focusing on backend microservices and data integration.

Wymagania stawiane pracownikowi:

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (Azure Pipelines experience is a plus).
• Proficiency with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle). • Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and team-oriented mindset.
• Good command of English; German is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk).
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or MQTT.
• Experienced in using Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira for documentation, collaboration, and project management.
• Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) environments and handling MESrelated data.

Firma oferuje:

• Attractive basic salary 13-16k gross  depending on experience, plus a 13th and 14th month salary (the 14th month salary is linked to the achievement of individual targets set for the year). The base salary amount is negotiable for highly skilled candidates.

You will join a small, agile hybrid team of 4–6 professionals based between European and Kraków. The team is focused on developing scalable microservices and cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud technologies. Collaboration, timely knowledge sharing, and cross-site communication are key to the team’s success. Your role will be critical in shaping backend architecture and helping to integrate backend services with frontend Angular components. A major focus will be on the e-connect portal, which serves as a central platform for digital customer engagement. The team culture emphasizes innovation, continuous learning, and quality-driven development within a supportive environment.
