Your new company 

For our client, an international company with British roots, we are looking for the Independent Accountant, who will be responsible for accountancy of the Polish entity. 

Your new role 

• Preparation of the financial statements. 
• Leading the audit process. 
• Staying updated with local accounting principles to assess impacts on company entities. 
• Maintaining a consistent link between Group and Statutory ledgers. 
• Performing ongoing reconciliation of group and statutory accounts and overseeing statutory implications of business mergers. 
• Preparing annual tax provision and providing tax-related documentation to local advisors. 
• Suggesting process improvements, building data extraction templates, and reducing manual work. 
• Standardising financial statement formats in collaboration with other departments and external advisors. 

What you39ll need to succeed 

• Experience gained in accountancy and/or controlling 
• Good knowledge of Polish GAAP, knowledge of IFRS will be an advantage.
• Experience in preparation of financial statements will be an advantage. 
• Education in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Fluent English and Polish language skills.
