Currently we are looking for a person for the position of: GL Accountant Key activities
- Responsibility for GL transactions:
- Processing of Intercompany AP transactions (good purchase) and Custom office documentation
- Perform reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
- Perform reconciliation of Bank transaction (incoming and outgoing)
- Being backup person for Fixed assets and Projects maintenance
- Prepare and process journal entries
- Ensure closing and day to day processes are completed in an accurate and timely manner
- Accurate performing of ad hoc postings and analysis
- Identify potential process improvements
- Participation in Finance and cross-department projects
- Support other team members in day to day processes
- Language skills: very good English
- University degree (bachelor as a minimum)
- Sound analytical skills and attention to details
- Experience in an international environment will be highly regarded
- At least 1 year experience in accountancy/finance is essential
- Service oriented and professional working approach
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
- Experience with ERP accounting systems (Oracle)
- Good knowledge of MS office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)
