Currently, for our Client - an international organization operating in the renewable energy sector - we are searching for a
Chief Accountant.
Your new role

• Monitor changes in tax and accounting regulations and their implementation in the company.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.
• Manage all accounting processes by organizing and keeping the company’s accounting records.
• Supervise the accounting team and function for legal entities.
• Be the first point of contact for stakeholders in accounting matters.
• Lead and implement changes driven by local laws, across the legal entities.
• Ensure the compliance of the Financial Statements both with Group reporting and the local jurisdictions.
• Lead new accounting processes and streamline existing processes.
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency.
• Compile, analyze, and report financial data.

What you’ll need to succeed

• University degree in accounting/finance or related areas.
• Accounting and tax compliance experience under the Polish GAAP, preferably with prior experience as a Chief Accountant/Accounting Team Leader.
• Experience with accounting and reporting systems, ideally with new systems39 implementation.
• Open-minded, flexible, problem-solving skills and team-oriented person.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal.
