We are currently looking for candidates for the position:
Lead Test Automation Engineer

Who are we looking for?In this position, you will collaborate closely with developers to gain a deep understanding of application features and system architecture. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and executing robust test strategies to validate functionality across all architectural layers before deployment to production.Additionally, you will take a leadership role within the QA community, mentoring fellow automation engineers and sharing your expertise to elevate testing practices across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the cross-functional QA Community, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate communication between QA professionals and both internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in organising workload distribution and setting task priorities
- Define, track, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for test coverage
- Provide testing support and guidance to development teams
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, including test plans and scenarios
- Create, implement, and maintain automated test suites
- Work on reducing the volume of manual regression testing
- Enhance existing automation frameworks by applying industry best practices
- Conduct manual and exploratory testing in areas not yet covered by automation
- Continuously review and refine user stories and test cases for quality and clarity
- Participate in code reviews of automated tests to promote team learning and suggest improvements
- Contribute to the QA Community of Practice by sharing testing standards and best practices

Must-have requirements:
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation, ideally within international and multicultural teams, both in traditional and remote setups
- At least 1 year of proven leadership in QA Communities or direct management of QA teams
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Extreme Programming (XP), as well as DevOps practices
- Proficiency in performance testing methodologies and tools
- Strong programming skills using Java, with hands-on experience in test automation tools like Cucumber and Selenium
- Skilled in both API and front-end testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience working in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) environments using Gherkin syntax
- In-depth knowledge of manual testing principles and the overall software development lifecycle
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of effectively interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
