For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:

Senior Java Scala Developer

Location: 100% remoteJob type: B2B (with Hays Poland)Length: first contract signed till the end of 2024, with possibility of prolongationRate: 140-160 PLN/h netStart date: ASAPRemote work: 100% remote

Tech stack: Java, Scala, Python, Hadoop, Cucumber

What will you do:

• Designing, developing and deploying a high-quality, scalable and secure Java applications
• Being responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance

What we expect from you:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in data processing & software engineering and can build high-quality, scalable data oriented products
• Strong Software Engineering experience with in-depth understanding of Java, Scala, Python or equivalent
• Experience on distributed data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, EMR, etc..) for building efficient, large-scale data pipelines
• Experience of Test-Driven Development approach (e.g, using Cucumber, Fitnesse, etc)
• Strong understanding of data architecture, modelling and infrastructure
• Experience with building workflows (ETL pipelines)
• Knowledge of English on B2/C1 level
