For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Senior Java Developer
Location: remote Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)Length: long-term cooperation, first contract for 6 monthsRate: 150 - 190 PLN/h net on B2BStart date: 1-3 monthsRemote work: 100% remoteMethodology: Agile
Tech stack: Java, Collibra, Spring, Microservices, Rest API, GCP, Linux, Shell script

Project:This position involves close collaboration with Collibra users, businesses, the Senior Data Definitions Manager, and Definitions Leads. The goal is to ensure that the Collibra (Group Data Dictionary tool) remains available 24/7 and to implement new functionalities or workflows as needed. Responsibilities include resolving application issues, optimizing code when necessary, and automating support tasks where feasible. The role holder will serve as the Collibra Developer and Java/Groovy Subject Matter Expert (SME), playing a crucial part in maintaining Collibra from a technical perspective.

What will you do:

• Work as a senior developer within the Collibra Centre of Excellence, focusing on workflow development and integration between Collibra and other systems.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Analyze business requirements.
• Engage in coding and unit testing.
• Facilitate production releases and provide ongoing support.

What we expect from you:

• 8 years of experience in Java preferred, min. 5 years of experience. Strong experience in Core Java (Inheritance, Polymorphism, Collections, Generics, Multithreading).
• 3 years of experience with Collibra. Experience in Collibra in workflow development and Collibra Administration
• Experience with developing BPMN Workflows using Collibra Java APIs on Eclipse Java Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
• Experience in Integration of Collibra with Other Systems using Micro Service Architecture.
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving Collibra data, system and performance issues
• Experience with Developing technical specifications, processes, and documentation to produce the required Collibra deliverables
• Strong Java/Groovy scripts with good understanding on Rest API’s, Activity Workflows
• Experience in Spring, Spring Boot, Micro Services, Restful web services and Spring JDBC.
• Experience in Lambda Expression, Functional interface, Streaming API.
• Experience with Linux and Shell Scripting
• Intermediate level Cloud hands-on experience.
• Strong GCP will be an added advantage
• Very good command of spoken and written English (min. B2)
