Your new company
You will join new digital hub of global company with global range, dedicated to creating innovative solutions in agriculture and construction industry. You will become a part of newly formed team and work on brand new systems used in heavy machinery to help them become autonomous.
Your new role 
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will become a contributing member of a software engineering team, focused on creating new technologies used in heavy machinery.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing precision solutions for heavy machinery in Java, such as, advanced sensor interface, machine automation, vehicle auto-guidance, operation mapping and data transmission via Telematics 
• Providing suggestions and strategies for architectural-based solutions and completing deep-dive root cause analysis for issues experienced in testing and in the field
• Creating and updating documentation for designs, and all phases of the project 
• Working with validation teams, or external customers, to troubleshoot and problem solve reported issues
• Providing or assisting with training needs as it relates to new or existing software
• Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division’s quality management system in accordance with ISO standard

What you39ll need to succeed 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in embedded software development using Java
• Solid understanding of Linux operating system architecture
• Experience using development tools such as Git, Maven, Gerrit, Jenkins
• Experience in the development of applications interfacing with SQL databases like PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with ORM tools such as Hibernate
• Solid knowledge of scripting languages such as Python
• Optionally, knowledge of other languages such as C++ will also be welcome
• Experience in performing analysis, design and testing 
• Capability of defining appropriate approaches and solutions
• Ability to define critical project criteria to ensure project completion
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking protocols and sockets programming
• Experience using Agile (e.g. Scrum, SAFe) software development processes
• Problem-solving abilities
• Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and leadership staff.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
