Senior Business Analyst (Data Platforms)

Summary:We have an opening for a Business Analyst with experience of delivering Data Platform projects, to join our team our team in Warsaw.The successful candidate will have extensive experience of working with technical and business teams to design and deliver solutions. They will have a strong understanding of cloud-based, data platform technologies and reporting & analytics tools.The Business Analyst will work closely with business users to capture requirements into user stories and enrich these for use by the Development team. They will sit within an agile team and will work closely with Data Analysts, Solution Architects and Developers, joining daily stand-ups whilst also providing a vital link back to the business to clarify requirements and to ultimately ensure that projects deliver the intended business benefits.

What we expect from you:

• Accomplished Business Analyst with extensive experience of working in an Agile environment
• Proven competency in the elicitation, documentation and management of detailed business and data, functional and non-functional requirements
• The candidate has worked in a financial services organisation and is familiar with common financial data concepts and taxonomies.
• Proven experience in the creation of data pipelines / data processes or data strategies, including data mapping/lineage, and working with data modellers to understand and help them refine data models.
• Experience of Data Lake/Data mart/master data management development projects.
• Experience of working with semi and structured data.
• Enjoys working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Has the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and can prioritise effectively.

What would be a plus:

• PowerBI
• Knowledge of Azure and Synapse Analytics
• Basic SQL knowledge
• Alternative assets (private equity, real estate, credit, direct lending, secondaries)
• Other buy-side investment firm experience
