We are recruiting on behalf of a global engineering company, that designs innovative electronics and technology that is used to overcome everyday challenges in suitability, efficiency, and productivity for a better future. The products the company designs can be found in the medical field, in electric vehicles, aircraft, smart utilities, global communications and much more!
Field Application Engineering Teams work intimately with customers to recommend products and solutions for new and existing applications. They identify new applications, requirement modifications and enhancements to meet customer specifications and conduct on-site installation and service of product and are responsible for all technical aspects of the sales cycle for potential application of company products to meet customer needs, including identifying opportunities; determining solutions; creating demand; preparing detailed product specifications and technical marketing support; ensuring high quality and timely project execution and conducting follow-up technical support. They also approve operational quality of systems and equipment.
FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER will operate in whole Poland with focus on central and northern partYour responsibilities- Performs installations, maintenance, certification, and advanced repair for the company’s Application Tooling Equipment either at the company’s plant or on customer side.
- Travels domestic and EMEA wide to perform installations, preventive maintenance, repairs, operator training on basic Application Tooling Equipment on-site at customers advised by local Application Tooling management.
- Analyses and resolves problems on the company’s equipment and product due to such factors as improper application, poor maintenance and quality control, failed parts etc.
- Performs advanced customer trainings on the company’s equipment and technologies.
- Analyses and evaluates warranty topics on customer equipment. Determines if defective and recommends corrective action.
- In cases of problems, he/she follows up self-driven to interchange with all involved parties to get the problem fixed on professional level by keeping under consideration that this is in line with all company’s policies and specs.
- Support Application Tooling sales efforts by close cooperation with the resp. Area Manager to increase the company’s business overall. Promotes Application Tooling by making new equipment and service offering recommendations.
- Recommends changes to tooling or product designs in order to meet customer’s application or quality requirements.
- Prepares and submits complete, accurate and timely reports related to shop, service activities, shop and service scheduling and service expenses.
- Uses all available communication tools to inform and be informed of all service-related activities, issues and events.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and code of ethics.
What your background should look like:- Degree in an Electrical or Mechatronic profession
- University degree in Electronics desirable but no must
- Mechanical skills
- Basics in Pneumatics
- Basics in Hydraulics
- Structured analysing and fixing of complex problems
- Good communication / negotiation skills
- PC and MS Office knowledge
- First experience in technical Service organisation
- Driving license
- Medium level in speaking and writing English
- Fluent Polish
- Willingness to travel domestic and EMEA wide
- Willingness to work in a multicultural, international team
- Willingness to travel (50%-75% of working time)
